Yosua 1:14-15

1:14 Your wives, children and cattle may stay in the land that Moses assigned to you east of the Jordan River. But all you warriors must cross over armed for battle ahead of your brothers. ¹  You must help them 1:15 until the Lord gives your brothers a place like yours to settle and they conquer the land the Lord your God is ready to hand over to them. Then you may go back to your allotted land and occupy the land Moses the Lord’s servant assigned you east of the Jordan.” ²

The Gibeonites Deceive Israel

9:1 When the news reached all the kings on the west side of the Jordan ³  – in the hill country, the lowlands, ⁴  and all along the Mediterranean coast ⁵  as far as ⁶  Lebanon (including the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites) –

Yosua 12:7

12:7 These are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the Israelites defeated on the west side of the Jordan, from Baal Gad in the Lebanon Valley to Mount Halak on up to Seir. Joshua assigned this territory to the Israelite tribes, ⁷ 

Yosua 14:3

14:3 Now Moses had assigned land ⁸  to the two-and-a-half tribes east of the Jordan, but he assigned no land ⁹  to the Levites. ¹⁰ 

Yosua 17:1

17:1 The tribe of Manasseh, Joseph’s firstborn son, was also allotted land. ¹¹  The descendants of Makir, Manasseh’s firstborn and the father of Gilead, received land, for they were warriors. ¹²  They were assigned Gilead and Bashan. ¹³ 

Yosua 18:7

18:7 But the Levites will not have an allotted portion among you, for their inheritance is to serve the Lord. ¹⁴  Gad, Reuben, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have already received their allotted land ¹⁵  east of the Jordan which Moses the Lord’s servant assigned them.”

Yosua 20:8

20:8 Beyond the Jordan east of Jericho ¹⁶  they selected ¹⁷  Bezer in the desert on the plain belonging to the tribe of Reuben, Ramoth in Gilead belonging to the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan belonging to the tribe of Manasseh.
